How to Find Your Size

All of our belts are gender-neutral and designed to fit comfortably based on standard US jeans sizing—no confusing belt calculations required!

1. The Golden Rule

  • Order your actual US jeans size. For example, if you wear a size 31 jeans, order belt size 31–32.

  • Between sizes? Size down. Leather naturally stretches about one hole size over time.

  • Wearing it low-waisted? Size up one size if you prefer a lower waist fit or plan to wear your belt at both high and low waist levels.

Need Custom Holes?

If you're sizing up for low-waist wear or want extra versatility, you can request custom hole punch options on your order:

  • Standard belts come with 5 holes.

  • You can request 7, 9, or 11 holes (spaced at 2-hole increments) to fit multiple rise heights.

Measuring an Existing Belt

Prefer to measure a belt you already own? We can help:

  1. Lay your current belt flat.

  2. Measure from the leather fold at the buckle to the hole you use most (ideally the middle hole).

  3. [Contact Us / Send us a message] with your measurement, and we'll match your size!

What's Included

Every belt includes:

  • 1 Attached Belt Keeper (fixed near the buckle)

  • 1 Extra Loose Belt Keeper (slides between your 1st and 2nd belt loops to secure any overhang)

Need additional loose keepers? You can purchase extra keepers separately on our store.

Our belts are made with the best quality materials we can find. Many of these are sourced from the same place in Ohio from which Rebecca's father sourced his original hardware. Samples are made in Cleveland by her dad and all production is done by hand in New York City’s garment district. We are continuously searching for the most unique and well made parts and strive to make our brand as sustainably responsible as we can.

Storing your belt:

Your belt is built to last and made to be worn as much as possible, however, if you do need to store it, it is best to hang it by the buckle or coil it loosely in your R. Turbow Leather belt bag and keep it in a dark place away from excessive cold or heat.

Cleaning your belt:

If your belt scuffs or marks, clean it lightly with water and a soft cotton or flannel cloth. Wipe it down, let it air dry, and if you feel a leather conditioner or cleaner is needed, please email us for recommendations, with the exact issue you're having. As well, we can accommodate special cleaning needs, and repairs, although unlikely, if ever needed.

Hardware Care:

Solid brass can easily tarnish, especially if left out and uncovered for long periods of time without being worn, and will also tarnish with regular wear. Use the Sunshine Polishing cloth included with your belt, unless you like a more antique brass look, to keep it shiny and polished. If extra polishing is ever needed, please contact us.

Your silver hardware will not tarnish the same way brass will, but it may also need a little polish from time to time, and can generally be done with a polishing cloth or any soft cotton cloth.
